Ancient Inspiration
in Modern Times…

Everywhere I have moved or lived has had a ceramics studio within walking distance. This was a sign. I quietly worked in my spare time off and on for years and learned. I founded Fielding Clay Works shortly after moving to Los Angeles. It was only after finding peace in California, my vision for the clay work became clear. It has been a privilege to build and reconnect with art, form, and simplicity.

My inspiration comes from the raw minimalism of ancient art. The tension between organic roughness and timeless elegance.

1000 Vases

I was selected to show in the 2019 1000 Vases show at Paris design week. An eclectic group of vases from around the world were sent to Paris to set the trends for new and emerging design and style in home decor.
